Syracuse has a fine park system — Crosson Mill Park is one of the attractions offered to residents and visitors who enjoy the outdoors. Located on SR 13, the park is on the site where an old mill used to be located. The facility takes its name from Samuel Crosson, the co-founder of the Town of Syracuse. This year, however, Crosson is not slated for much change and activity. While the addition of decorative lighting is scheduled for this year, as it is for all the parks in the system, Crosson will see little overall change. Park-goers, however, will likely still enjoy its quiet attractions.
