Camelot Ski Team to have busy season

The 1990 season for the Camelot Ski Team is going to be a busy one. The team will be sponsoring four tournaments this summer. The first tournament will be June 16-17, when Camelot will host the Camelot Three Round Jump Tournament. The team will co-host the Indiana State Tournament with WSI Ski Team at Cindonway Shores. The two teams will also be hosting the Mid-West Regional Tournament on August 3,4, and 5. The Wild Bill Hoosier Classic Tournament will be on Camelot Lakes on August 11-12. Camelot Ski Team is comprised of members of all ages and abilities. Members of the ski both past and present, hold many records on both the state, regional and national level. The only prerequisite of being a member of the ski team is to be a property owner at Camelot Lake and enjoy the sport of water skiing.

Many of the members are not necessarily skiers, but, like to help with the activities. Camelot Ski Team has gained many new members in the last couple of years and members are very excited to take on all of these projects for this upcoming season. The public is welcome to come and watch the four tournaments this summer. Concessions will be on the site. During the regionals the first weekend in August, many of the top skiers in the mid-west will be at Camelot or Cindonway Shores. Camelot Lakes are located between Milford and Syracuse off of the MilfordSyracuse Road. To locate the tournament site, turn south off of the Milford-Syracuse Road onto CR 250E, go about one mile, turn east onto LaPoint Drive, then turn left onto the dirt road which leads to the tournament site.
