'Plain and Fancy' returns to Amish Acres for summer

Amish Acres’ production of the 1955 Broadway musical classic, “Plain and Fancy,” will set a new record during its 1990 season. “Plain and Fancy” has performed over 461 shows in its four years at the Amish Acres theater. [lt is only fitting that the new record for this theatrical revival be set at Amish Acres in Nappanee, where there is the dedication to a quiet celebration of the Amish way of life. Plain and Fancy’ brought the first national attention to the quaint customs, stern morals and picturesque dress of the Amish.
