To the delight of young movie-goers, the Lakeland Community Day Care Center will be sponsoring the movie “The Muppets Take Manhattan’’ on Saturday, Dec. 2. between the two showings of the muppet movie, Santa Claus will be greeting boys and girls at the Pickwick Square. Tickets for the movie are being purchased by the Syracuse Retail Merchants and will be given away free to those interested in viewing the afternoon feature at either show time. Tickets will be available following Thanksgiving weekend at the stores of sponsoring retail merchants.
