Jerry A. Dorrier Jerry Allen.Dorrier, three months old. 1008 Zollinger Road, Goshen, died Friday, Sept. 22. 1989, at 3:03 p.m. in his home of apparent natural causes. He was born on June 21.1989. in Goshen to Julie Dorrier. Goshen, and Jerry Pamer. Milford. They survive. Additional survivors include a twin sister, Melinda, at home; three half sisters. Dawn and Melissa Hershberger. Goshen, and Angel Marie Hershberger. Huntington; two half brothers. Terry and Jesse Hershberger. Goshen; one stepsister. Mary Jo Pamer. Pierceton; four sets of grandparents. John and Betty Pamer, Milford. Lloyd and Alma Cripe. Goshen. Eli and Teresa Kauffman. Syracuse, and Marlene and Art Nettrouer. Goshen; and great-grandparents. Orneal and Kenneth Miller. Goshen. Edna May. Goshen; and John Cable. Massillon. Ohio. Services were held Monday. Sept. 25. in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Goshen, was in charge of arrangements. Ivan R. Burns Ivan R. (Junior) Burns. 66. 414 West 2nd St.. Rochester, was dead on arrival in Woodlawn Hospital. Rochester, at 5:30 p.m Tuesday. Sept. 26. 1989. He had been in ill health for seven years He was born in Peru on November 29. 1922. to Ivan and Edna Steininger Burns. He married Edna M. Norris, who preceded him in death. His second marriage was to Muriel Love, who also preceded him in death. He then married Fannie Rose Ousley; she survives. He moved 23 years ago from Akron to Rochester. He had been a track maintenance man for the Erie-Lackawana Railroad and was later a carpenter. He was a US Armv veteran of World War 11. Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters. Sept. 30. 1989.. in the home of her niece yr Portland. She was born in Jay County to Charles and Mary Hiatt Lorton. On June 8. 1919. she married Harold Siders. He preceded her in death on May 17,1981. She had resided the last 10 years in Warsaw and prior to that, many years on North Webster Lake. She retired as manager of North Webster Ice Company. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary 253 in North Webster. Survivors include one sister. Mrs. Albert (Roseanne) Shearer of Denver. Colo., and several nieces and nephews. Services were held yesterday. Tuesday, at 1:30 p.m. in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home in Portland with Rev. E. R. Miller officiating. Burial was in Green Park Cemetery. Portland. Woodrow Schramm Woodrow W. “Woodie Schramm. 76,. 2169 SR 331, Bremen, died Sunday, Oct. 1, 1989, at 2:30 a m. in his home following an extended illness. He was born in Portland on March 22, 1913. to Charles and 'johana Schmucker Schramm. On 'Weepber 24, 1940. he married in Kosciusko County; she survives. In 1943, he moved from Warsaw to Bremen. He was the retired owndr of Woodie s Supermarket, opening the Bremen store in 1943 and the Warsaw store in 1963. He was a long-time business and civic leader in Bremen and was one of the owners and founders of UniversSdßearing Co.. Bremen, co-partneruf. Bremen Village part owner of Sprigg-O-Mint Golf Course. Bremen. He served two terms on the Bremen School Board, served on the Bremen Hospital Board — Marshall County Jury Commission, a position he held presently. He was a supporter of Kosciusko and Marshall coupties 4-H. an advocate of continuing education and established a Woodie’s Scholarship Fund for Public Schools.
