The sheriff urges residents not to let the woman into the home. He also advises not to give the woman any cash, checks nor take money out of a savings account. “It is the time of year for persons to start calling and attempting to defraud senior citizens,” noted the sheriff. He stated if a person has a question about the credibility of a person, ask for identification, get the person's name and a telephone number where a person can call and verify employment.
