(there will be no program on September 17), is geared to be a complete family seminar which is something that is really needed right now in our society. “The family unit is really under attack from so many problems right now in our society and we hope that a seminar like this can help to prevent some of the deterioration of the family,” said Walden. The seminar, which will take up about 35-40 minutes each Sunday evening, will focus on family issues such as communication, raising children, love and husband and wife roles in a marriage. “We hope that the persons attending the seminar are able to learn some solid principles for their families and then can go

and put them into practice,” stated Walden. Walden said that the seminar comes at a good time since the church will be holding its second annual couples retreat from October 6-7 at Quaker Haven Camp at Dewart Lake. “The seminar is what I would call preventive medicine which we need with the attack on our family system from so many problems and I encourage anyone to attend the seminar in order to strengthen their family situation,” remarked Walden. Anyone interested in finding out more information about the “Family Life Seminar” should contact the Wawasee Heights Baptist Church at 457-4107.
