Holster, a native of southern Sweden, has made her first visit to the United States and has been visiting in the Hunsberger home west of Milford. Os her stay. Holster says the U.S. is “okay," and the "only thing I don't like is the food.” She returned to Europe on Saturday. July 8. Linda and Lisa met in 1986

when Lisa was an exchange student in the Holster home Since that time. Lisa has visited Sweden and Linda in 1987 and 1988 Lisa recently returned (Sunday, July 21 from a backpacking trip across Europe which marks her fourth visit abroad. While traveling, she stayed in the Holster home, but missed seeing

Linda as she was already traveling in the states. Julian left for' home on Monday, July 10. He has been staying in the Hunsberger home during the past year as an exchange student from Germany. JOY TANNER of Fort Myers Beach. Fla., was recently in the area visiting her sisters, Mrs. Delbert Dippon and Mrs. Wayne Bucher. The three sisters enjoyed a day in St. Joseph, Mich., visiting Judi Burleson. A couple of days later, Mrs. Bucher and Mrs. Tanner traveled to Union Lake. Mich., to visit their other sister, Mrs. James Barnes. —o— MHS GRADS who have memories of the old soda fountain at the drug store can revive those memories with a trip to PJ’s Too south of North Webster. The old soda fountain was installed there when the building was built and continues to faithfully serve from that location. —o— BEFORE LEAVING the USA for Russia. Linda Benning, daughter of Dave and Pat Benning of r 1, telephoned her parents from New York to say her group is scheduled to meet with Mikhail S. Gorbachev w hile in the USSR.

It is reported Gloria left her walking companions “in the dust” and finished the course in a fine time of approximately 47 minutes. —o— FORMER MILFORD resident Bob Bailey is expected to be released from Walter Reed Hospital this week after undergoing extensive tests. Bob will be celebrating his birthday Sunday, July 16, and it is reported he really enjoys hearing from people in his “hometown."

She has been a resident of the Methodist Home in Warren for 33 years. On Sunday afternoon Libby was visited by her long-time Milford neighbor Emma Haab. Accompanying Emma were her son and daughter-in-law, Alvin and Carol Haab. —o“HAPPY 19TH Ike and Cora” was lit up on the scoreboard during the Monday night game between the South Bend White Sox and Quad City Angels in Stanley Coveleski Regional Stadium, South Bend. Larry (Ike) and Cora Eisenhour, who celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary July 11, enjoyed the game with friends Denny and Jan Mikel and daughter Trisha, Tom and Missy Sorensen, and Don and Kathy Beer and daughter. Democratic Women to hold meeting The Kosciusko County Democratic Women’s Organization will be holding a meeting on July 16 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the City of Warsaw Council Chambers. The purpose of the meeting is.to both re group and reactivate the organization and. says. Anne Surhme, secretary of the Democratic Central Committee, to help get the woman’s organization built back up again. Any area women interested in the Democratic Party are encouraged to attend the meeting. Featured speakers will be Shirley Gidley, Third District chairwoman and Tim Roemer, a Congressional candidate for the Third District. Refreshments will be served
