Help for summer residents

Water safety for children Even if you and your kids are good swimmers, that doesn’t mean that water safety should be disregarded. Accidents happen, and even the best swimmers sometimes get into dangerous situations. You should never swim alone, unless you are an expert swimmer (and even if you are. you should not swim alone in the ocean). Children should never be allowed to swim alone. Also, you should never dive into a lake or the shallow end of a swimming pool; each year, people suffer severe head injuries from doing this. And, if you swim in the ocean, make sure that a lifeguard can see you at all times; undertows can be very strong and very dangerous.
