Brotherly love shown A seven-foot cross full of 1,200 ribbon pins greeted people at Milford Christian Church Sunday, Feb. 21. After a sermon concerning “Love,” based on the 13th chapter of I Corinthians, the worshippers were asked to take the pins from the cross and give them to each person they loved and appreciated. Everyone participated in the program and a great feeling of love filled the heart of each worshipper. Denny Replogle’s Bible study group was in charge of the evening worship service. Larry Harmon led the singing and gave a talk on “The Restoration Movement.” Most of the group worked with hand puppets to the delight of everyone, especially the kids. Tacille Rumfelt gave her testimony on the testing of her faith. Denny Replogle gave a summary of the book of James. This Bible study group has been studying this book in class on Wednesday evenings. A light breakfast and fellowship time is planned for Sunday, March 6, at 8 a.m. The public is invited to attend Cross-stitch classes scheduled For those who may have always wanted to learn how to do counted cross stitch sewing, help is on the way.
