Shoppers find everything at Rinker's family Store
Serving customers from its present location for the past 22 years, Rinker’s Family Store, SR 13, North Webster, has developed a reputation for carrying many items which larger stores often don’t stock. “We often have people come in who say they’ve been all over Fort Wayne, Goshen, Warsaw and other larger cities and aren’t able to find many of the products we keep in stock,” Alice Rinker, owner of the store since its inaugural inception in Anderson 36 years ago, added. MWSKSKSy'II "" “We try something new every year, always finding new ways to get it in. “We may not sell everything well, that we stock, but we believe you have to provide it for the customers’ needs in an area such as ours.” That philosophy has led Rinker’s to a successful tenure, adding new customers to the already large number of “old customers.” “We let people roam the store, encouraging them to come in and spend time,” Rinker remarked. Harris Funeral Home provides friendly, caring service
At a time when families would rather not be bothered with specifics of the timeconsuming task of funeral arrangements, Harris Funeral Home, at the intersection of CRIOOON and SR 13 south of Syracuse, gives customers friendly and caring service. “You have to have a certain amount of compassion and care for the people you serve,” Gary Eastlund, funeral director, said of the Harris philosophy. With over 22 years in the funeral home business, Eastlund has built a reputation for the personal care he takes in providing services to customers during difficult times. Eastlund and his wife, Barbara, operate the family-owned business, having purchased the home from Charles Harris on August 1, 1985. Eastlund had worked for Harris since 1965. Working with Eastlund are Richard Owen, soon to be licensed, and Larry Clodfelter, former state police officer, who has worked part-time for two years. • Plenty of .parking available at the

beautiful and spacious building, where additional services, such as pre-arranged funeral insurance policies are available. Eastlund said that pre-arrangement is available in several different plans, which can include all aspects of a burial including cemetery plot and monument. He added that this service allows family members to make necessary decisions while emotions are at rest and before decisions are needed. Harris Funeral Home also handles a wide range of monuments through a local company and has records for a majority of area cemeteries. “We have funeral records dating back to the turn of the century for the Syracuse area,” Eastlund said, revealing the business’s commitment to serving the public. With someone on call 24 hours a day, Eastlund welcomes calls from those individuals looking for pre-arrangements or requiring the services of professionals during the trying times of finding the right funeral home.
