Curtis TV and Appliance has provided satisfaction to many people in the community. Bob Curtis said the business is aimed at people who will not settle for anything less than top quality. “We are very competitive with other businesses because we concentrate on selling better lines of merchandise.” Terrific service backs a Curtis TV and Appliance purchase. “Not only are we a retail store, but we are a sefvice center as well,” said Curtis. In addition, people who would like to make a purchase but who cannot quite find enough money are able to participate in a rental program on all merchandise.
Curtis TV; and Appliance, Inc., was formed in 1961 in Nappanee at 151 North Clark St. In 1976 Fred opened a store in Syracuse on West Main Street. In six short years Curtis TV and Appliance outgrew the Main Street facility, and was forced to move to the present location on Pickwick Road in Wawasee Village. The Syracuse store now has 700 to 800 square feet of showroom space, which is plenty of room for displays while at the same time, the parking lot is much bigger to

The Curtises also employ a service man, a delivery and rental manager, and a store manager in Nappanee Together, the five work hard insuring that all customers receive the quality service which they deserve.
