Patrons get personalized service at Bob Wysong Chevrolet, Pontiac

“When you buy a car or truck at Bob Wysong Chevrolet and Pontiac in downtown Cromwell you receive personalized service from all of our employees,” says owner Bob Wysong. Wysong purchased the GM dealership in 1975, but he relates, “This business has been in the same location since 1933, when it was owned by Raymound Silveus. We have done some remodeling to meet our own needs and growth. “Chevrolet now offers a complete line in a wide range of prices and styles, from the compact to the full luxury model. The Sprint is one of our highest rated cars for economy, averaging over 50 miles per gallon,” the dealer explained. “Mid-size pick-up trucks and new redesigned full-size C-K pick-up trucks are real big in this area, along with new Chevrolets and Pontiacs. Most of the used cars we get are local trade-ins,” Wysong added, noting that many of his customers are from Noble, Kosciusko, and Whitley counties. Wysong’s has the GMAC Direct Leasing Plan, which offers one’s choice of vehicle, terms to fit anyone’s budget, low initial cost, and a wide range of fixed monthly lease payments, depending on cost of the model, options selected, and the length of the lease. GMAC even gives customers the opportunity to purchase the vehicle they have been

We do front end alignments, major engine and transmission repair, and we have a ‘sun machine’ for tune-ups, as well as computerized tire balancing,” Wysong stated. A lifetime-guaranteed Rusty Jones Car Saver System, used for rust proofing, a Scotch Gard fabric treatment, and a gloss paint treatment are also offered by Wysong’s. A capable service department includes parts manager Rick Wysong; Sherm Leanion, service manager and Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certified technician; and technicians Ken Comb, Tom Jackson, and Mark Pfenning. Bob Wysong rounds out the factory trained technician staff, which frequently attends GM schools to learn the latest in technology. A 24-hour wrecker service is also offered, while a Standard gas station is located in front of the business for the convenience of the local community. Wysong has worked in the car business since graduating from Ball State University, Muncie, in 1972. He has always lived in the area and graduated from Wolf Lake High School.
