It offers its clients easy access to their insurance needs since most clients live within a 25-mile radius of the office. Quality and service first at Pacemaker

Pacemaker Buildings, located one-half mile north of North Webster on SR 13, specializes in commercial, industrial and farm buildings. The building firm also constructs airplane hangers. “Our post frame type of building eliminates costly concrete foundations and the pre-painted metal siding comes with a 20-year guarantee,” says Wayne Schrock, owner of the company. “The buildings are the best quality available and maintenance free.” Schrock opened the firm in 1975 as a branch of the lowa-based Pacemaker buildings. Pacemaker now operates independently of the lowa company, serving the northern third of Indiana. Pacemaker employs approximately 20 people which include builders, office personnel and salesmen. “We are small enough to give good service and still be competitive,” Schrock added. “Pacemaker has put quality and service first since its 1975 beginning.” Os Pacemaker’s business that last few years, only farm buildings have slowed. However, the owner predicts a change within a couple of years. “The building business has been

made simply and more effectively through the IBM system. Farm Bureau started in Kosciusko County by renting space from the Farm Bureau Coop in Warsaw. An office building was constructed off Center street, and later a branch was added in suburban Warsaw. Joe Leamon heads the Syracuse branch office, while Neal Hirsch serves as Farm Bureau’s claims representative. Other staff members include Stephanie Davis, insurance agent; and Carol Hiss, secretary. The insurance center is open five days a week. As the insurance needs change, Farm Bureau continues to keep pace without sacrificing quality.

phenomenal the last two years, except for farming,” said Schrock. “But I think the farm business will return in the next couple of years. Farmers that remained in the business are better off now than a couple of years ago.

A Pacemaker-constructed building assures customers of quality. Schrock makes sure quality buildings are built, that’s the nature of Pacemaker’s business. The North Webster company offers its customers a wide range of colors to choose from prior to construction. This is just another way Schrock’s Pacemaker building company strives to serve its customers. Roof trusses, labeled by the manufacturer. posts that are properly treated and stamped by the treating company are two examples of Pacemaker’s belief in quality products. In addition, Pacemaker offers professional and expertise in construction, as well as proper insurance coverage for buildings under construction. Wind damage and personal injury insurance are steps taken by Pacemaker. Quality is the name of the game at Pacemaker. No short cuts are taken when Pacemaker has the customer in mind.
