ANTHONY P. HASSE Airman Anthony P. Hasse, son of Paul R. Hasse, 925 Medusa St., Syracuse, and Susan E. Brauer, 1000 W. Wilden, Goshen, has graduated from Air Force basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization and customs and received special training in human relations. In addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force. He ’is a 1987 graduate of Wawasee High School. JOHN A. GARDNER Pvt. John A. Gardner, son of Harland D. Gardner of Millersburg, and Phyllis S. Gardner of Syracuse, has completed One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at the US Army Infantry School, Fort Benning, Ga. OSUT is a 12-week period which combines basic combat training and advanced individual training.
