LOUISA'S LETTER UJi 1 =

Dear Louisa. What are the courts of our country thinking about and what is going to become of us? There are people who abuse and exploit young children arid yet have the nerve to talk about freedom of the press! A man who kidnaps and abuses hostages should be treated like a mad dog — they should be put out of the way. And that doesn't mean on parole after a few years.

A few death penalties for such crimes and I am sure that some of our repeaters would learn to control themselves — if not they should be put away for good. „ Dismayed — N.J. Answer: The rash of sexual crimes in our country is truly appalling. A

great deal of blame can be laid to the entertainment media, which depicts immorality as acceptable and delightful in their stories and articles. Two stories recently, highly praised by critics, depicted a delightful time with two men and their mistresses on holidays while the wife of one was unaware of what was going on and the children of the other were heaven knows where. Even the family magazines are obsessed with the sexual act and devote pages to it. It really is time for decent people to do something to save our children from being degraded or abused in the coming years. Louisa Address letters: Louisa. Box 532, Orangeburg. S.C. 29115
