Historic house tour a success

DRESSED FOR THE OCCASION — Syracuse Sesquicentennial Chairman Bill Beemer and his wife, Barbara, were dressed for the occasion Friday evening at the Sesquicentennial Ball. The Beemers and a number of other couples took advantage of the ball and arrived in their top hat and tails and long gowns, all in the 1800 s era. Those who were dressed from the era were honored with a promenade around the dance floor.

_ Sadler elected
president of county MHA John E. Sadler, Warsaw funeral director, was recently elected president of the Kosciusko County Mental Health Association Board of Directors. He replaces Dr. David W. Robinson, who will become executive director of the association. Sadler is well-known in Kosciusko County. He is a member of the Juvenile Justice Task Force, The American Heart Association, Junior Achievement and Kosciusko County Leadership Academy. He is married and has one daughter. As president, Sadler will preside over the b 21-member board and oversee the total functions of the board. The Mental Health Association is located at 207 E. Center St. in Warsaw. This is also the location of the “Drop In Center,” which is open daily to the recovering mentally ill in Kosciusko County. The local chapter continues to sponsor the Little Bear program for all primary grade children. This is a play with a message for children on the subject of sexual abuse and harassment.
