LOUISA'S LETTER (I.X J gg \£***_S ~ "t—Z_7
• Dear Louisa, A cousin of mine, whom I haven’t seen in ten years, is planning to visit me. We have always been fond of each other and have kept in touch by writing to one another and letting them know about the children and the relatives who have married or divorced or passed away. This cousin lives in California, so this will be quite a trip for her, and I do not know how long she plans to stay. I am excited over., her visit, but I hope she is not planning to stay longer than a week for several reasons. We have a comfortable home, large enough for our family, but the girls will have to move in together and give up one room. I do my own work and shopping, and as you know groceries are expensive. The reason I am writing to you is to get your opinion on how I should find how long she expects to stay and what I should do to entertain her? Puzzled — Fla. Answer: Tell her how delighted you will
