This year the proceeds will be distributed to various community agencies with major emphasis toward the Friends of the Library, the adult literacy program, Syracuse Christmas decorations project and the Syracuse Sesquicentennial Mayor's Race. ....•'* • ■'' ■.' ••; ' ■• . ; — ■■...: . . , .• _ . n Registration is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. in the parking lot of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, SR 13N, Syracuse. The bike-a-thon will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude at noon. Participates will ride the traditional route, around Syracuse Lake with Lakeside Park acting as the rider checkpoint. eL ' Sponsor sheets are available from any Rotary member, Augsburger’s Super Valu, Northern Indiana Public Service Company, State Bank of Syracuse, First Federal, Precision Automotive, and The Mail-Journal office. New Ivy Tech The new Ivy Tech Elkhart campus will open with a schedule of classes for the summer quarter, beginning May 28. The building, located at 2521 Industrial Parkway on Elkhart’s east side, is undergoing renovation which will transform the existing two-year-old industrial plant into a modern teaching facility. Courses in accounting, microcomputers, supervision, word processing, small business administration, electronics, heating/air conditioning/refrigeration and industrial maintenance will be offered. While construction is underway at the permanent location, classes continue to be offered in Elkhart County at Concord High School in Dunlap. 7* it ■ JOINS NBS STAFF — NBS Office Supply has announced that Paul Fulp has taken over duties of manager of the Warsaw store, located at 210 S. Buffalo Street. Fulp replaced Jan Lackey, who has moved out of the area. Fulp has been a sales representative in the office supply industry for the past five years. He was associated with Warsaw Office Supply prior to its acquisition by NBS in March, 1985. Prior to taking over management of the Warsaw store. Fulp managed the NBS store in Wabash for the past year. Fulp was born in Crawfordsville, graduated from Marion College, and lives in Milford with his three children.
