■lß® CHRISTMAS CANTATA AT NAPPANEE — Rehearsing for the Nappanee Missionary Church Christmas Cantata, "He Started the Whole World Singing," are, from the left in front, Jeanne Focht, Christy Engbrecht. Donna Persing and Debby Culp. In the second row are Steve Ingalls, Donna Rohrer. Adelle Campbell. Dixie Sheetz and Rick Persing. The cantata will be presented by the church’s 50 voice sanctuary choir on Sunday, Dec. 14, at 7 p.m. It deals with man’s sin, destroying the beauty of God’s creation. But God did not desert His creation. He made a promise to restore lost glory to man, to rebuild the song. That promise was fulfilled in Jesus, the source of all music, the song that started the whole world singing. Don Rohrer, director, invites the public to share in this musical event at the church, located two miles north of Nappanee on SR 19.
The Way- - #4 Jesus said: Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: Luke 12:8 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine hear that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. romans 10:9,10

So at this busy season, let us take time to review prophecy concerning the birth of our Lord and Saviour and hence increase our faith. The Messianic prophecy of the Old Testament is listed first followed by its fulfillment in the New Testament. The Messiah was to be: 1. Os the seed of a woman. "And I will put enmity between thee (the devil) and the woman and between thy seed and her seed, it shall bruise thy head, and thou

Os the tribe of Judah. The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, Until Shiloh come, and unto him shall the gathering of the people be” (Genesis 49:10). "It is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda" (Hebrews 7 :14). The geneaology of Jesus as given in the first chapter of Matthew and in Luke 3:23-38 proves this. However, the gathering of the Jewish, people and their 12 tribes has not yet been fulfilled.
