'Ducktails and Bobbysox' at Milford Junior High

Friday, Nov. 21. at 7 p.m. the Milford Junior High Drama Club will present the musical “Ducktails And Bobbysox” by Shubert Fendrich, Christopher Mohr and Steven Fendrich. This is a musical comedy set in the 1950 s and is chocked-full of everything from ducktail haircuts, bobby socks and saddle shoes to the nostalgic music of those memorable years. Fifties rock-n-roll star Curtis Jackson (played by Brian Schwab) pays a surprise visit to the small town of Victor where he encounters a host of hilarious

SOLVES RUBIK'S CUBE — Erno Rubik, a man whose puzzles have bedeviled millions around the world and have driven at least one couple to divorce, insists that he has never met a puzzle he couldn't crack. His latest puzzle, Rubik’s Magic, is a fiendish invention that has more than 43 quintilliop combinations (that’s 43,000,009,000,000,000,000), j et only one solution. Library history given for the Wednesday club Mrs. Richard Ditmerwas guest speaker for the November 12 meeting of the Wednesday Afternoon Club. Mrs. Ditmer’s program covered the history, use and concerns of Syracuse’s Dale Carnegie Library.
