Women's church group meets
The Women’s Missionary Society of the Milford First Brethren Church met at the home of Mrs. Glen Bixler in Goshen on Thursday evening, Sept. 4, with 17 members and one guest, Allie Fay, present. Each member took school supplies to be sent to Riverside School in Kryton, Ky.

The program is ear-pleasing'and is loaded with rich delights for everyone. It is an adventure of two wide-eyed children in the Land of Love. Agapeland. The music is fresh and fun and the sets are colorfully imaginative. The public is invited to take part in this fantasy adventure in the Land of Love. Join Sir Oliver as he posts 10 decrees and invites children from all over the world io write and sing their songs about them. The choir director, with back to camera, is Dave Benning. Attend The Church Os Your Choice
at the church fellowship center Dee Vyuthnch will be hostess and there will be a special speaker for the evening. Syracuse church rally Sunday St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, in Syracuse, has scheduled a “church rally” on Sunday Sept. 14. Beginning at 9:15 a.m. with a combined Sunday school celebration, the all-day rally will begin with a continental breakfast. The normal worship hour at 10:30 a.m. will be a special service designed to honor Sunday school teachers and leaders. There will also be a service commemorating the 25th year of the church building. Following worship, grilled hamburgers and hot dogs will be served and a variety of indoor and outdoor games will be played. At 4 p.m. the “Four Star Harmony” will conduct a concert in the sanctuary. The day’s events will conclude with a message by Rev. Lewis Hathaway. The public is invited to attend this rally at St. Andrew’s, which is located on SR 13, north of Syracuse. Program at Webster church Jeff and Robin Awe. of God’s Helping Hands, Inc., Bloomingdale. Mich., will present a puppet ministry at the North Webster Church of the Brethren at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 14. The program will be of interest to children of all ages. It will be preceded by a carry-in meal at 6 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. All are welcome to participate in the evening’s activities. Persons are invited to feel free to attend the puppet ministry even if unable to make it to the carry-in meal. /

LAFF COMMITTEE PLANS SEASON — The 1986 fall classes of Learning Adventures For Fun (LAFF) will be held on Thursday mornings from 8:45 a.m. to noon for five weeks beginning September 25. Mobile Meals go strong Thelma Emmaus, outgoing volunteer coordinator for Mobile Meals, Inc., was recently honored with a plaque for her outstanding service as volunteer coordinator for the past 14 months. The current Syracuse area volunteer coordinator is Ruby Eisaman, Syracuse. Mobile Meals delivers hot noon meals five days a week to home bound and semi home bound persons. The program was begun in 1985, and continues to be cosponsored, by Syracuse/Wawasee Ministerial Association and Mobile Meals of Kosciusko County Inc.
