Cub Scout Pack 3730 lists May activities

Cub Scout Pack 3730 has reported on their activities during the month of May. Pack 3730 is sponsored by the First United Methodist Church of Warsaw. Den leaders are Craig Felger. Cindy Felger, Larry Hanes, Dale Long, Steve Devenney, Paul Cleveland. Shelby Aylor, Bev Stevens, Linda lold. Kathy Wood. Kimm Dock Paula Wentz and Jack Wilhite. Cindy Felger is the committee chai ■person. During the Scout -A-Rama May 3, at the fairgrounds, the pack received the first place ribbon for their display. Brandon Wilhite placed first and Chris Felger placed third in the !?inewood Derby race. The pack also won second place for thtjir "show and do” demonstration. A total of 55 persons from Pack 3730 attended the Spring Campout at the Rising ?jtow Reservation on May to. The pack received a first place ribbon for attendance and a first place ribbon for campsite judging. On May 25. 70 members of the pack participated in the Hands Across America project, and a total of 22 Cub Scouts and four

These Scouts also participated in a pack Arrow of Light ceremony with Pierceton’s Cub Scout Pack on June 7. and will participate in a district ceremony on June 21. at the Rising Arrow Reservation in Warsaw. Warsaw woman dub president

Elaine Bell. Warsaw, was recently sworn in as president of the Woman’s Press Club of Indiana in ceremonies at the Union Station in Indianapolis. She succeeds Rose Cline of Crawfordsville. Bell is a freelance newspaper writer and also does television coverage and photography for the broadcast media. Other officers inaugurated during the ceremonies were: Julie Slaymaker, Indianapolis, first vice president; Donna Douglas. Muncie, second vice president; Jackie Davis.
