Wawasee swims to fourth victory
Last Thursday, the Wawasee Warrior swim team cruised to a 104-67 home meet win over Tippecanoe Valley. The victory, pushed Wawasee’s record to 4-3. Xnd last night, the Warriors, m jpped up Plymouth in their last Northern Lakes Conference dual meet, winning 54-14 on the road. Wawasee finished with a league record of 7-0 and a 14-1 overall mark. Video featured at Purdue game WEST LAFAYETTE - Purdue University Alumni, especially the astronauts, are featured in a video program that will air during halftime of the televised basketball game on Thursday, Jan. 16. The five-minute program will be broadcast on the Purdue Basketball Network as part of coverage of the PurdueNorthwestern The video shows pictures from the most recently completed space shuttle flight, which held two Purdue graduates on board. Two non-astronauts are also interviewed during the program, an executive for General Electric and a manager for Chrysler. The game, starting at 7:30 p.m., will be carried by WLFI, Lafayette; WTTV, Indianapolis; WFFT, Fort Wayne; WEVV, Evansville; and cable systems in Michigan City, LaPorte, New Albany, Griffith, Valparaiso, Mishawaka and South Bend. The program is prodluced by the Purdue University News Service.
