DISPLAY YOUR LOVE ALONG WITH THE HOLIDAY DECORATIONS

stores will tell you that the holiday season is now upon us, for the shelves are already sparkling with tinsel, ornaments and other symbols of the upcoming festivities. All of this is supposed to put you in an early holiday mood, but if it doesn’t, you should examine your own feelings to find out why. There must be something wrong that will take more than all the glittering decorations or lighted candles to dispel. Perhaps you have developed an attitude of impatience or discourtesy toward the world, which is aggravated by traffic jams, crowded stores, etc. No matter how busy you are, spend some time at your House of Worship, where you will learn to replace these negative traits with love. Be kind even to strangers, and you will be surprised at how much brighter your home — and your life — will seem, even before you put up the first holiday decoration.
