It is rumored that the judge of circuit court of this county has ordered the jury commissioners to open the venure box and place inside names of women free holders and householders, as well as names of men, for drawing for jury service in the next term of court. This will mean that women will be called both for grand jury and petit jury service. This is something new in trying cases in Indiana.
