Research studies have shown that biofeedback techniques are effective in thetteatment of these painful headaches. Furthermore, biofeedback is compatible with the use of medication. Bryan Ciula, Ph.D., a staff psychologist at Bowen Center for Human Services, has had a wide range of experience in working with people individually as in groups. Dr. Ciula has considerable expertise in the topic area of relaxation techniques, and as the instructor for the class, Dr. Ciula will explain the physical basis for migraine headaches and will teach biofeedback methods for controlling the headaches. The three-week workshop will be held November 19, 26, and December 3, at the Bowen Center, 850 N.
