Once getting to port, it can be explored in two ways: on one's own or in a group known as a shore excursion. A day or so before the ship is due to arrive in port, the cruise director will outline points of interest in the upcoming port. That talk is certain to include a detailed description of the ship's shore excursions. These shore tours are arranged by the cruise line which buys tours from local tour operators. If one decides that this is a good way to gain a good overall view of the port, then opt for the tour. However, if one is the type who likes to "discover'' for himself, one should opt to go it alone. How about a nice cruise to break up the winter months? Come into the WARSAW TRAVEL (269-6771 or 1-800-342-5221) and let us make all the arrangements for you. Whether business or pleasure our staff is always thorough so that your travel is more pleasurable. We are located at 1301 N. Detroit Street, Monday thru Friday 9 to 5:30 and Saturday 9-1. Most major credit cards are accepted. TRAVEL HINT: An archeological or historic site is usually best visited via a A shore excursion.
