Car hits deer An Ohio man was involved in a car-deer collision on SR 13 on Aug. 8, at 9:30 p.m. Police say a car driven by Thys J. Vanhout, Cincinnati, collided with a deer just south of Syracuse. Vanhout was traveling about 45 mph when he struck the deer. The accident caused SI,OOO damage to Vanhout’s car. The deer was killed in the accident. Kosciusko County, Indiana, or at such other place as may be designated. At such hearing, taxpayers objecting to any of such additional appropriations may be heard. The 21st annual Epworth Forest choir school has begun at Epworth Forest, North Webster. Programs and services for the public will continue through Sunday, Aug. 17. Two hundred thirtyone members have enrolled for the week of choral and orchestra experiences.
