IN SUNDAY NIGHT MIXED LEAGUE ACTION, CeeCee Swihart, Betty Swihart, Penny Swihart, Chuck Summerlot and Chuck Lamb all converted the 3-10 split, with Lamb doing it three times and also converting a 7-8-10 split. Ray Butler, Jack Simpson and Ben Canfield all made the 5-10 with Lee Riggen and CeeCee Swihart converting on 5-7 splits, and Kim Riggen making the dreaded 5-9-7. THE DIRTY BIRDS LEAD THE EARLY BIRDS. That is, the Dirty Birds are atop the standings of the Thursday Morning Early Birds League. With 54 1 /? wins, the Dirty Birds lead the Tweety Birds by 3‘/2 games. Well back in third and fourth place are the Loony Birds and the Turkeys. And Robin Dust, no relation to Chicken Little, converted the 4- split. THEY’VE BEEN PICKING UP THE SPLITS in the Friday Night Mixed League. To wit: both Rosary Burbank and Sandi Beaty picked up the 3-10 split, while Gus Pauff nailed the 5-7 split and Dave Schopf the 5-7-9 split — not once, but twice! Also, Tami Cusick converted on 3-7 and 2-7-10 splits, and Lilly Hawn and John Beaty made good on 6-10-7 split opportunities. Dave Schopf and Jane Fry both made the 5- split.
