BEGKI HAAB, a sixth grader at Milford Elementary, is the first to win the Upper Crust Pizza drawing for improving her grades in school. The Upper Crust is sponsoring a drawing where the winner receives a pizza party for four at the Upper Crust. The number of times a student may enter the drawing depends upon the number of improved grades received since the last grading period. To enter, students must present their report cards as proof of their grades. Further drawings will be held after the end of each grading period, so there is still time to improve those grades and enter. o LETTERS HAVE been sent to approximately 60 Milford residents inviting them to attend a meeting sponsored by the Breakfast Optimists Club of Warsaw. The meeting will be held on Thursday, Feb. 14. at 11:45 a m . in Jennies, Main Street, Milford. Steve Whittinghill of First Church of God. Bloomington, 111., or known as Donna Bolenbacher s husband. Four Letter Words! X?#-!!!0X?## is usually what comes to mind when we think of four letter words - right? Well, that’s not always the case you know. I don’t know for sure, why we humans think in negative terms so much! What do you remember most about yesterdays events? It’s easier to recall the terrible weather, the car that drove by and splashed you. and the insult we reviewed rather than the compliment paid us. the parking place right by the door, or the hassle free. day. omnipotent God! Through faith in Him a day of work becomes a day of service, a boring day becomes a day of meditation and opportunity, a flat out bad day becomes a day to look for a rainbow for there are no rainbows apart from the storms, right? So, pick up your drooping spirit, lift your saddened eyes to the heavens, gather the strength you have left and thrust it into God’s positive, assuring, goodseeking will. This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad! Rejoice! Pray about everything ... God’s peace will guard your hearts . . . Think on pure true things. . . put into practice what God shows you! Please read Philippians 4:4-9! God’s four letter words are not «?XXX##o%#?# . . . but: Good Hope - Love - Cool - Warm - Glad - Lift - Save - Know - Rest - Nice - Give - Kind - Pure - Calm - Pray - Gift. Happy days to you. . .
