Meals for Older Americans
Meals for Older Americans are served each day at the following locations: The Scout Cabin,Syracuse; the Pierceton Community Building. Mentone Community Room in the fire station; and the Retired Tigers Center, 320 W. Main, Warsaw. Meals for Older Americans is for persons 60 years or older and is a chance to meet new friends and enjoy hot, nutritional meals. V 7 jfl Hh Wjtak I . He is an industrial arts teacher and high school wrestling coach at Whitko High School. The wedding will be conducted in the South Whitley Church of God.

Philharmonic Orchestra to present program
The Fort Wayne Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra will present “La Matinee," a program of five works by the French composers Saint-Saens, Debussy. Berlioz, Faure and Ravel, on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 8 p.m. at the Wagon Wheel Playhouse, Warsaw. Principal cellist Samuel Smith will be the guest soloist for a performance of the Saint-Saens Concerto No. 1 in A Minor for cello and orchestra. Debussy’s trio for flute, viola and harp will feature Mary-Beth Gnagey, David Johnson and Bridgett Stuckey. Two excerpts from “L’Enfance du “Christ" by Berlioz will be performed: “The Flight to Egypt” and “Trio for Two Flutes and Harp.” Music director Ronald Ondrejka will conduct the orchestra in the “Pelleas et Melisande” Suite by Faure and Ma Mere L’Oye (Mother Goose) by Ravel. Helping Hands hold meeting By MONI LANGE Carl Rouch hosted a Milford Helping Hands 4-H Club meeting Tuesday evening, Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. The meeting was opened by the president, Carl Rouch. The American pledge was led by Jenny Beer and the 4-H pledge was led by Moni Lange. Roll call was answered by 13 members on an organ of the body. The secretary, Renee Beer, read the minutes and the leader Rosemary Rouch, talked about the upcoming events. The new officers were, then, installed. Carl Rouch gave a demonstration on how to care for your cat. Erika Lange and Jennifer Seemeyer led in singing “little Cabin in the Woods.” A game was enjoyed by all and refreshments were served. The next meeting will be February 19 at Shannon Angle’s. New members were welcome. Steven Seemeyer, Milford, was one of two promoted to captain by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources’ Division of Law Enforcement, according to Jim Ridenour, DNR director. Seemeyer is the new north region commander and is replacing Capt. William Kerber. The new commander joined the Law Enforcement Division in 1974, serving Starke and Kosciusko Counties. In 1979 he was promoted to the rank of sergeant for District 1. Capt. Seemeyer and his wife, Barbara, have twin daughters. Jill and Jennifer. Others promoted were Lt. Charles Cooper, Spencer, to the rank of captain, and is the new south region commander in District 5. Sgt. David Bateman, Valparaiso, was promoted to lieutenant for District 11, the Lake Michigan detail. Cynthia Davis, Robert Smith to wed in Indianapolis Feb. 16
Cynthia Kay Davis and Robert Neil Smith, will be married on Saturday, Feb. 16, at 3:30 p.m., in the East 91st Street Christian Church, Indianapolis.
