Escalation (4% per month — construction start mid-April, $50,000, for a total construction cost of $1,564,000. Study Master Plan > The KCH board of directors also studied a Master Site Plan at its Monday night meeting as prepared by the Indianapolis architectural firm. (Note: See accompanying drawing.) Total land involved in the plan is 53.55 acres, comprising of the 17.3-acre hospital • site and the 36.25-acre “north” property recently acquired. The new addition is currently zoned residential which allows institutional use under the Warsaw Zoning Code The plan, called a 10-year health needs plan, is proposed as follows: Medical office buildings (three buildings with four suites each) ; cardiac rehab unit (4,000 square feet); nursing home (100 beds); multi-discipline health center <B.OOO square feet); outpatient clinic (five doctors); acuteintermediate care (66 beds); wellness center (5.000 square
feet); and maintenance/ grounds/hospital support (6,000 square feet). A continuous street curves from the intersection of Harrison & Dußois Streets past the hospital and bisects the new (“north”) property before reaching Harris Drive. The new street displaces some existing parking, but circulation to the hospital and “north” property is made clearer, safer and more attractive. The new street could be either a hospital-owned drive or be dedicated as an extension of Harrison Street. The Master Site Plan is an outgrowth of an ongoing discussion by board members to consider the future health needs of the greater Kosciusko County area. No action was taken on the proposed plan.

An IRS agent is not limited in the source of information he may use. By use of a subpoena, if necessary, he can obtain information from various third party sources such as banks, insurance companies, brokers, your customers and vendors, and public records. Many taxpayers have filed financial statements stating their income and net worth with banks or other financial institutions. The agent can compare these statements with the information filed on your tax returns. Most people who have operated a small business have a wealth of information on file at their local bank, all of which the IRS can review. The Internal Revenue Service can exchange information with other federal agencies, and they have agreements to exchange income tax audit information with the various states. In addition to comparing current year differences, the IRS can use your financial data to prepare a “net worth" statement. If you told your banker, via financial statements ten years ago, that you were worth zero, and today you are worth SIOO,OOO, your tax returns for the past ten years should paint a similar picture. Each year the IRS computer is a little better at matching information in your return with other documents the agency receives. The 1099’s you receive from banks, brokers and others reporting income paid to you are also being filed with the IRS. If your tax return information varies substantially from other information available to the IRS, it would be worth your while to document all differences in the backup records you retain for each tax return prepared. You may have stenciled designs on fabric On paper, but have you ever tried stenciling on pastries and bread products. With egg-yolk paint you can stencil on pies, cookies and breads. Stenciling on food is just like stenciling On other things. Your paint is a little different — made of egg yolks and food coloring. But the choice of design — simple with sharp lines — and the process are the same. Foods that change shape during baking like breads and cookies, should be stenciled after they are baked and fully cooled. When making a pie, however, stencil the top crust on a flat surface before transfering it to the pie. Colors will darken slightly as

First, beat the yolk with a fork until smooth. Divide the egg yolk into three small custard cups, and stir in enough food coloring (paste or liquid type) to achieve desired colors. To keep egg-yolk paints from drying out, cover with plastic wrap when not in use. Stir in a few drops of water as you paint, if necessary, to make paint a workable consistency. This will leave a light pencil image. Cut around shape with scissors or a single edge razor blade. Lay desired stencil pattern over food. Using small art brushes and egg-yolk paint, outline the stencil shape, then fill in. Do not brush over the same area more than two or three times because excess moisture from the paint can mar the surface of the food. For best results, use a fairly dry brush, and spread a thin layer of the egg-yolk paint. If there is too much paint on your
