Gladys Morris Retired Teacher Mrs. Gladys S. Morris, 76, r 2 Syracuse, died in Greencroft Nursing Center, Goshen, at 6 a.m. Sunday, June 3. She had been ill two years. Born May 5,1908, in Brook, she married Arthur Morris Aug. 12, 1947. He is deceased. A retired school teacher,* she had taught in Cromwell area schools for 44 years. She was a member of the Cromwell United Methodist Church, its Lydia Circle, served as president of the Cromwell’s Women’s Society of Christian Service, was a member of- the Ligonier Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 325, the Indiana Retired Teacher’s Association, Kosciusko County Retired Teacher's Association and the Ebenezer Ladies Aid, Syracuse. Surviving are: two brothers, Henry Swartz, Bay City, Mich., and Claude Swartz, Cromwell; and two sisters, Nellie Swartz, Cromwell, and Fern Werich. Ligonier. A sister preceded her in death. Services were held today (Wednesday) in the Cromwell United Methodist Church Interment "was in the Syracuse Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Cromwell United Methodist Church or the American Heart Fund. Woodrow Fitzsimmons Entrepreneur Woodrow Fitzsimmons, 67. Warsaw, died at his residence at 8:45 a m. Monday, June 4. He had been in failing health several years. Born Sept. 5, 1916, in LaPorte. he was the son of Michael and Laura (Anders) Fitzsimmons. On May 17,1941, he married Dorothy Stoffer. She survives. A member of the Baptist he had been associated with the Milford Machine Corp, until 1962 when he moved to

He returned to Warsaw in 1978. ’ He belonged to the Fellowship Lodge No. 681, F&AM, Anderson, and the Scottish Rite, South Bend. Additional survivors are: three sons, Jon Fitzsimmons, Martinsville, Tom Fitzsimmons, Anderson, and Gary Fitzsimmons, Warsaw; four grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Mel (Marcile) Anderson, LaPorte. Services will be held Thursday in the Cutler Brothers Funeral Home, LaPorte, with interment in the Pine Lake cemetery there. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Foundation. Luella Beer Milford Apostolic Church Member Luella Beer. 88, Lakeland Loving Care Center. Milford, died at the Loving Care Center Friday morning, June 1. She had been a resident of the center three years. Born March 10, 1896, in Claytonville, 111., she was the daughter of Theodore and Eliza (Sutter) Haab. She married Ezra Beer in 1916. He died in 1980. She was a member of the Milford Apostolic Christian Church, and had resided in the Milford area since 1906. Surviving are: three daughters. Mrs. Vernon (Viola) Leman, Eureka, 111., Mrs. Howard (Kathryn) Emch, Hubbard, Ohio, and Mrs. Gerald (Eunice) Fiechter, Craigville; four sons, Howard, Maurice, Carlton and Jess Beer, all of Milford; two sisters. Laura Kammerer, Leesburg, and Prisella Haab. Milford; five brothers, Oliver. Jess and Elmer Haab, all jjCMilford, Roy Haab. preceded her in death. Services were held Sunday at the Milford Apostolic Christian Church. Burial was in the Milford Cemetery. Betty Main Former Syracuse Resident Betty R. Main, 62, Bremen, died at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Mishawaka, at 8:55 a.m. Friday, June 1. She was born Aug. 26,1921, the daughter of Raymond and Anna Areßetta (Robinson) Kettering. She married Marlin (“Red”) Main. He survives. She had lived in Bremen for 29 years, moving there from Syracuse. Additional survivors are: a son, Burdette (“Pud”) Main. Bremen; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Bird, Milford, and Mrs. Violet Cripe, Goshen. Services were held Monday at Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen, with interment in the Bremen Cemetery. Robert Buster Air Force Retiree Robert Emmet Buster, 78, Lexington, Ind., died Monday, June 4. Born Nov. 11, 1905, in Greencastle, he was the son of David and Lauretta Jane (O’Hare) Buster. He married Mary Bowlin. A United States Air Force retiree, he was also an'artist. Surviving are: his wife; two daughters, Virginia Lee Gilbert ■HL jHbl NAMED TO KCH POST — Adrian S. Farmer has been named assistant administrator of Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw. The appointment was effective May 24 and was announced by L. Milton Holmgrain, administrator. Farmer, administrative assistant at KCH since joining the hospital in April of 1981, is responsible for several support areas including housekeeping, medical records, dietary, personnel, central supply and purchasing. In addition, he is responsible for supervision of hospital compliance with Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals standards. the hospital-wide quality assurance program, several special projects, and is involved in the KCH long range planning He is also coordinator of the Lifeline program. A native of Bristol, Tenn., Farmer earned his bachelor of science degree in English from East Tennessee State University and his master of hospital administration degree from the University of Mississippi in 1980. He served his administrative residency at Bristol Hospital, served an externship with I Methodist Hospital in Memphis. Tenn., and worked on a Hospice feasibility study at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Miss. Prior to joining KCH. he worked as a health planner in a health systems agency in Champaign-Urbana, 111. A resident of Warsaw, Farmer is vice president of the Noon Op- , timist Club, a member ofthe National Health Planning Associa--1 tion and a nominee to the American College of Hospital Ad- ' ministrators. It is still not known when he will be released. The Milford man was burned over the lower half of his body in a welding mishap while at work on May 7. Sheetz was airport manager of the Warsaw Municipal Airportand was the retired president of Warsaw Aviation, which furnished a commuter service from Warsaw to Chicago, for executives of Zimmer Inc., and R.R. Donnelley & Sons, Inc., prior to his retirement. Warsaw Aviation also coordinated business in three airports, Warsaw, Wabash and Bloomington, prior to his retirement.
