Area churches to hold Bible schools

Summer is just beginning and different activities are necessary to keep children active and interested during their school vacation. To meet this need, many churches of the Lakeland community have scheduled Vacation Bible Schools. Bible Schools are away to reinforce Christian teachings and beliefs. For some of the churches, Bible School programs aren’t limited to children. Individual Bible School schedules follow: Bethel Church Bethel Church of the Brethren. Milford, will hold Bible School June 4-8 from 7-8:45 p.m. Theme will be “Jesus is the Answer.” Classes are for children aged three through sixth grade. There will be an adult class at the same time. Nancy Snider is serving as director. Milford Methodist Milford United Methodist Church will sponsor Bible School June 4-8 from 9-11:30 a.m. In addition to other activities there will be a puppet theatre. Codirectors are Jodi Brown and Marilyn Brown. Bible School will be for three-year-olds through sixth grade. Syracuse Brethren The Syracuse Church of the Brethren will have Bible School June 4-8 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The closing program will take place on June 10 at 10 a.m. There will be adult classes at the same time.
