I o LOUISA'S ===: : LETTER jS&E■
Dear Louisa, A cousin of mine, whom I haven’t seen in years, is planning to visit me. We have always been fond of each other and have kept in touch by writing to one another and letting each know about the children and the relatives who have married or divorced or passed away. This cousin lives in California so this will be quite a trip for her and 1 do not know how long she plans to stay. I am excited over her visit but 1 hope she is not planning to stay longer than a week for several reasons. We have a comfortable home. large enough for our family, but the girls wiH4i<ive „to move in together and give up one room. I do my own work and shopping and as you know groceries are expensive.

The reason 1 am writing to you is to get your opinion on how I should find out how long she expects to stay and what 1 should do to entertain her? Cousin-Miss. Answer: Tell her how delighted you will be to see her and ask if the week of a certain time will suit her to come as that will also fit into your plans. For entertainment let the relatives know of her visit and invite them in for an occasion. They will probably reciprocate by having her and you for meals or a party during the visit.
