Seek missing EMS signs Tippecanoe Township Trustee Richard Mitchell and Township Clerk Sue Ann Mitchell have reported that all Emergency Medical Service lane signs have been surveyed. A number of signs have been reported missing. Anyone who happens to have a sign is asked to drop it off at the North Webster Fire Station. According to Mrs. Mitchell, the signs are to be repaired and back in place by Memorial Day. Anyone interested in volunteering their services may contact the trustee’s office. NOTICE TO BIDDERS Notice is hereby given to all interested persons that the Board of Trustees of the Town of North Webster, Indiana will accept sealed bids for resurfacing of various streets in the Town of North Webster, Indiana, from the date of this notice until the hour of 7:00 p.m. on the 9th day of May, 1984 at which said day and hour the bids received will be opened and examined and the contract for such resurfacing awarded to the lowest and best bidder. Webster officers work 612 hours in March
North Webster Town Marshal Judy Coleman presented the police department’s March report at the April 11 North Webster Town Board meeting. During the month officers worked 612 hours and drove a total of 1,879 miles on 193 gallons of fuel. The department answered 142 calls and 206 information calls during March. The department also handled 25 fire and emergency medical service calls. Twenty eight courtesy services were provided. Officers issued five warning ! Also, officers responded to 12 theft reports and recovered 12 items of stolen property. Two vandalism reports and four civil and domestice disturbances were investigated.

Officers assited in four lockouts, found one door open and made eight escorts to area banks. Four alarms were answered, five dog complaints received, 21 title checks completed and other police departments were aided on two calls. Officers attended four fire and first aid calls and issued two deer kill permits during the month.
