The restaurant is located next to the Wawasee Motel on the west side of the road. Charles W. Kroh filed Wednesday with County Clerk Pauline Jordan as a candidate for the turkey Creek township advisory board Kroh is an incumbent. Nita Kline and Adah Crow are spending the week in Gary, Ind., visiting Mrs. Thomas Moreno. Weekend visitors in the L.C. Sheibley home were John Stetler, Mr. and Mrs. D. On Tuesday morning, Syracuse was almost without any water. That morning, Charles Rentfrow, town marshal started the pumps, and went away to do some other work. When he came back to the pumphouse, he discovered that the water turbine was not running. He notified members of the town board, that the pump was not working, and immediately employed men to find out what was wrong. Mrs. Pearl Coy of near Milford and Roy Veil were married last Thursday by Rev. Lee Cory. They will make their home on the Coy farm. Friends numbering 100 “belled” them, Tuesday evening and received a treat from ,Mr. 'and Mrs. Veil. On Tuesday Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Veil moved from the Sam Dillen farm to the Arthur Kolberg farm. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Godschalk moved to the Dillin place. Those who helped Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Veil move were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Veil, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Veil, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Smith and son, Harry Falker, William Beard, arnold Weaver, and Mr. and Mrs. albert Rouch and Mr. and Mrs. Jess Reynolds of Millersburg.

CHERYL LESLIE Pvt. Cheryl L. Leslie, daughter of Gary E. Leslie of 645 Green Lawn Ave., Fort Wayne, and Nancy J. Meyer of Cromwell, has completed training as an Army military police specialist under the one station unit training (OSUT) program at Fort McClellan, Ala. OSUT is a 13-week period which combines basic training with advanced individual training. Students were trained irt dvil and military tew, traffic control, map reading and self-defense. She is a 1983 graduate of Leo Junior Senior High School.
