HOW MANY do you recognize? Don Dawson, 20077 Regina Rd., New Paris, has loaned this picture in hopes of having persons in it identified. It is a picture of a class at the former Clunette School, taken about 1922. Miss Devere Brant, left, was the teacher, and Doc Roose is the custodian, pictured, far right. If you have any information about this photograph, please contact this newspaper. FOR OUR friends who are in the south! The Lakeland area recorded its first snowfall last Friday, Nov. 11, with residents finding a light blanket of white on the ground when they awoke. It wasn’t a big accumulation, however, the youngster took advantage of it by throwing snowballs and making snowmen. By evening most of the snow was gone with only the cooler temperatures and scattered white spots here and there remaining to remind people that winter is on its way. Cold weather, by the way, remains with us at presstime. WARREN AND Evelyn Fisher of r 1 Milford escaped the snow. They left last Thursday for Astor, Fla., where they will remain until next May at their 1720 Ormonds Jungle Den Road residence. BUSY BETH Lentz of Dewart Lake and the Youth Employment Council in Warsaw has returned from the National Association of Counties Employment Conference. Beth was invited to speak at the conference, which was held in Memphis, Tenn., October 22-25 , to present details of the Kosciusko County program for youth employment. Kosciusko County’s program has been recognized as unique in the nation due to the utilization of volunteers in employability skills

training of youth and adults throughout the county. The major thrust of the Tennessee conference was the programming of youth services as provided under the Jobs Training and Partnership Act. THE JAYCEETTES have made a change in the location of their December 3 Christmas bazaar. It will be held in the elementary school gym from 9 a.m. until 12 noon. They promise more details on this at a later date but want everyone to note the change of place. MRS. HENRY~(Frieda Lanz) Ruch will observe her 97th birthday Saturday, Nov. 19. A party is being planned in her honor by her family.

ALL MILFORD residents who have long awaited cable television installation can check the town streets and see the first step taking place. Workers from the Farming Cable crew began installing cable lines last week and plan to be in Milford for 3> a to four weeks. Pictured above on the pole is Buddy Christenst of Wonder Lake, Ill.; and standing on the ground is Don Vineyard of Spring Grove, 111. Not pictured but working with this particular crew was John Vanden Heuvel, originally from Madison, Wis., but a current resident of North Webster.
