Northern Indiana Public Service Company chairman and chief executive officer. said recently a letter of intent was signed by NIPSCo and the Wabash Valley Power Association following a series of negotiations. Schroer said the agreement results in a continuation of the wholesale power relationship that has existed between the parties while at the same time modifying some of its terms. It also amends the two parties' Marble Hill Agreement whereby NIPSCo will purchase electric capacity and energy from the Marble Hill nuclear plant. The letter also suspends litigation between NIPSCo and WVPA pending before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, and the agreement to be executed by the parties is to provide that all such litigation is to be dismissed. The division provides a wide range of educational programs and provides consultation to concerned community groups and individuals. Its efforts are to promote mental health and to reduce stress within its five-county service area. Rogers brings 12 years of experience in the mental health field to his department. He has served as president of the Wabash County Mental Health Association, is a former board member, vice president, and president of the Indiana Mental Health Association. Rogers has served as a board member of the National Mental Health Association and has served for three years as a member of the Indiana Governor’s Advisory Committee on Mental Health. During his career. Rogers has been a pastor for the Church of the Brethren congregation in Roanoke. Va.. and has served as pastor of the Manchester Church of the Brethren since 1989. He has done in-depth studies of community social agedcies at Coventry Cathedral and Oxford University in England. Rogers received his bachelor of arts degree from Bridgewater College. Bridgewater.
