Game Wardens. Conservation Officers and other law enforcement officers or agents; and (D) Duly authorized circus or animal shows holding valid permits issued by a proper State or Federal authority and for tern porary operation, not to exceed seven (7) days, in the Town of Syracuse. Indiana. Sections. Any person, firm or corporation who violates any of the terms and provisions of this Ordinance or who fails to comply therewith or with any of the requirements thereof shall, for each such violation or non-compliance, be guilty of a misdemeanor and. upon conviction, shall be fined not less than Fifty Dollars (SSO) nor more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500), and each day that such violation or non-compliance shall be permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. Section 6. The Syracuse Police Department, and the Marshal and any Deputy Marshal of the Town of Syracuse, and the Kosciusko County Humane Society, or any authorized agent or employee thereof, is hereby authorized without notice to any owner or person in possession of any such wild animal, reptile or attack dog thus harbored, maintained or kept in any circumstances constituting a violation of this Ordinance to take possession of such animal, reptile or attack dog and to deliver or cause the same to be delivered forthwith to the Kosciusko County Humane Center or other shelter designed for the safekeeping thereof. In the event that the said wild animal, reptile or attack dog may not be captured without serious jeopardy to life or property by such Police Officer or other agent as hereinabove related, then the same shall be killed or destroyed by the most expedient means by such Officer or agent. Section 7. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and proper publication thereof.
