Schmucker, who was traveling east on Syracuse-Milford Road, did not realize that the intersection of that road and Main Street, Syracuse, is a three-way stop. Assuming it to be a four-way stop he proceeded to cross Main Street and collided with the Berkey auto. Damage sustained by the Schmucker auto was estimated at $2,290. Damage to the Berkey auto was said to be SBSO.
