Following the birth of their first child, Julie, the Baldwins were delayed in Dakar for an additional three weeks. Their plane’s engine developed a vibration which took extra time to locate and repair. However, the extended stay did spare the newborn baby from the 120 degree May heat. .. • The Baldwins are currently working on a new slide presentation for circulation amongst churches here in the states covering their arrival on the mission field, their first impressions, their plane accident and the following year. The presentation will also introduce where they live and the people they work with in the field. There is still a deficit of SIB,OOO to cover the cost of the plane, an essential mode of transportation for the missionaries; and the Baldwins extended appreciation for baby gifts and cards that were sent. Prayers and letters can be sent to Chuck and Debby at B.P. 15, Kenieba, via Bamako, Mali, West Africa.
