Loud parties keep Syracuse police busy
Syracuse Police investigated numerous reports during the past week including several complaints concerning loud music. The reports are as follows:
The group has won honors as the National and International World Show Team Champions. All are students representing several high schools, colleges and universities. The Spirit of America executes a show that will rival any professional musical production. Team members do a flashy show routine with multiple batons. The dancers, singers and gymnasts enhance the show with their superior performances which are expertly choreographed by Larry Life of the Indiana-Purdue Universities Regional Campus Drama Department, Fort Wayne. The team has received national recognition from PresidentRonald Reagan for its contributions and performances in Europe and has been designated Official Goodwill Ambassadors to represent the United States in the International Folk Festivals of Europe. Team members also received a Concurrent Resolution of Tribute from the Indiana State Legislature. The National Baton Twirlers

Organization’s Congress actively supports the team by coordinating activities throughout the year. Auditions for the team are held in the fall at various colleges across the country. Fund raising is one continuous effort for the students who are sponsored by businesses, organizations, individuals and states each year.
