Rick Albrect, Loveland, Ohio, won the Governor’s Cup at Ypsilanti Michigan’s second annual Governor’s Cup Hydroplane Boat Races on June 15. Albrecht, driving “Oh What A Feeling” in the 1200 cc class, tied for the most accumulated points with Bob Ritz of Port Huron, who drove “Bobcat” in the 2.5 litre class. Lawn mower fire at Graff Trailer Park A riding lawn mower caught fire Tuesday afternoon at the residence of Byron Ulrich, Graff Trailer Park, Milford. Ulrich notified the Milford Fire Department of the blaze, but was able to extinguish the fire with a neighbor’s garden hose before an emergency run was made.
