PUCKER POWER — Carrie Rinker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randy (Lisa) Rinker, had plenty of kisses at the kissing booth sponsored by the Lakeland Daycare Center during the recent Sagebrush Days observance in Syracuse. IN STEP — Members of the Syracuse American Legion Post were one of the first units represented in the Memorial Day Parade which traveled north on SR 13 to the town square, and then proceeded to the Syracuse cemetery for the Memorial Day ceremonies.

FLYING BY— The Lakeland Eagles Number 3760 combined with their auxiliary to present this float in the Syracuse Memorial Day Parade. Young and old lined the parade route to view the various units and join in observing the day set aside for honoring American war veterans.
