Crabb also paid tribute to the United Way volunteers who “showed our community is made up of people who care about their neighbors and friends. ” According to Crabb, some United Ways across the country, feeling the same economic crunch, are appealing to their residents for a further contribution based on employment. “Statistics from the Warsaw Chamber of Commerce show our work force in the county runs between 25.700 and 26.200. If every worker could further contribute two dollars to United Way, we would realize our goal,” he said. Out of Division 118, the highest contributors were Kappa, Kappa, Kappa and the Claypool Lions Club. Many other service clubs and sororities also supported the yearly campaign. Anyone interested in further contributing to the United Way may send funds to the United Way of Kosciusko County, P.O. Box 923, Warsaw, Ind., 46580.
