The decision of the Mishler funeral home in Milford to discontinue ambulance service, includng transfer service, is irrevocable, Wade E. Mishler, owner of the funeral home told a group of Milford citizens at the Milford fire station last Thursday night. Contests and singing carols were the entertainment. A daughter, Barbara Joann, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Zimmerman, of route 2, Milford, at 7:55 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, at the McDonald hospital. Her weight at birth was six pounds. Rev. and Mrs. Manly Deeter who reside on a south of Milford, left Thursday for Sebring, Florida, where they will spend the winter. The John Custer family who moved from southeast of here to Roanoke, 111., a couple of years ago, have returned to Indiana, and at present are living with Mrs. Custer’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Baumgartner. Oscar Graff to be 90 on Christmas Oscar Graff, r 1 Milford, "believes in God and is thankful for his 90th birthday” which will be celebrated with ap- • proximately 150 family members at the 65th annual Fred Graff Christmas Party on Christmas Eve at the Milford Community Building. Mr. Graff was born in Tremont, 111., on December 25,1892, and is a "good conversationalist and a friend to the young and old," according to his daughter, Kathryn Sauder of Scottsdale, Ariz. He moved to Milford in 1906 at the age of 14, and has been a resident since then. He married Hulda Beer in 1917 and they currently reside at r 1 Milford. His daughters, Mildred Levy from Warsaw; Clara Kaiser from Milford; Kathryn Sauder; and Phyllis Hueni from Mishawaka; and other family members win present a program recalling incidents in his life at Graff’s birthday celebration. The birthday celebration will continue on Christmas Day as the immediate family joins to celebrate his 90 years of life. Booked at jailM Richard Cory Cripps, 39, r 5 Syracuse, was booked at the Koscuisko County Jail on a charge of conversion. He was released on his own recognizance.
