Jim Hann is cubmaster of the newly formed pack 128 of Cub Scouts at Syracuse, and sponsored by the Saint Andrew s United Methodist Church. Terry McCiod is chairman; Don Scholer, treasurer; Phillip Keim in charge of awards and Larry Clodfelter, Eugene Hall and Rev. Marvin Jones, committeemen. Jim Boyer is Webelo leader. The annexation of a tract of land contiguous to the town of Syracuse, known as Area 11, was completed some time ago and will become effective March 2, 1973, according to Syracuse town attorney Bruce Frey. Area men booked in county jail Richard Lloyd Scott, 43, Milford and Raymond Warren. Jr., 20. Leesburg, were recently booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on separate charges. Scott was booked on a charge of check deception and was held on $1,500 bond. Warren was charged with conversion and released on his own recognizance. US 33 accident involves Milford man An auto driven by Danny W. Shoopman, 22, r 1 box 17 Milford, was struck by a 1982 Ford driven by Robert W. Yoder, 29, 905 S. 14th St., Goshen, on Friday, Dec. 4. at 1:46 p.m. The accident occurred on US.33W when Yoder attempted to change lanes. Both drivers were eastbound when Yoder, who was in the curb lane, attempted to enter the inside lane, where Shoopman was driving his 1977 Oldsmobile. Yoder s auto struck the right front of Shoopman s auto. Goshen Police Ptl Gary L. Penland investigated and damage to each auto was estimated under S2OO.
