last season’s 13-10 sectional champion team. Gone to greener pastures are Jeff Long, Brian Geiger, Todd Davis, Jay Auer. Kent Stichter and Kirk Stichter. Long’s departure from the Warrior hardwood as all-time Wawasee leading scorer left some big shoes for coach Wysong to fill. In addition to Long, (16.9 ppg) Brian Geiger (13.0), and Kent Stichter (11.7) also left some big holes in the offense. So Wawasee fans had better expect some new faces when the Warriors take to the road against Fort Wayne Carroll in the seasonopener Friday, Nov. 19. Wysong has taken a philosophical approach to the big gap last season's graduation left him. It’s now time to examine what a basketball program is all about and what his role as coach is, he said. “My job is take whatever we get and try to get them to play as best they can.” says Wysong “Every year is a new year. It will take several games before we ll know where we are going to go and what we have to do. ”
